Another very warm day across across northern Europe yesterday, Oct 14th

Sunday was very warm across large parts of northern Europe. Temperatures pushed as high as 25.5 °C! Let us take a closer look.

Northern Europe

Temperatures pushed up to the lower 20s across large parts of southern and central Sweden, southern Finland and central Norway. In particular, fjords of western Norway warmed additionally due to strong Foehn effect: up to 25.5 °C in Tafjord.

France, Germany and Benelux

The day was very warm also in parts of western and central Europe, with daytime highs pushing up to almost 30 °C in France, 27 °C in Germany and the Netherlands and 26 °C in Belgium! Pretty comfortable weather for mid-October!
