United Kingdom sets a new temperature record again – 21.2 °C today, Feb 26th

Well, this is beyond impressive! We had a morning discussion about temperatures possibly pushing possible above the +20 °C threshold again today and… here its is! Only 24 hours after new United Kingdom February and winter maximum temperature records were set, they were toppled again today.

The new record was set in Kew Gardens (the city of London) recorded +21.2 °C this afternoon! For the first time ever, also London Heathrow airport surpassed the 20 °C threshold – peak temperature was +20.1 °C!

Tomorrow will be the final very warm day across the UK but will probably remain slightly cooler than today – stay tuned!
