The upper ridge across south-central Europe and Balkan peninsula is gradually weakening with an expansion of an upper trough into WSW Europe. A cold front is pushed across Iberia and France into NW Germany. An upper low rotates across E Mediterranean and Middle East. A deep trough with very cold airmass remains across N Scandinavia and NW Russia.
A SLGT risk has been issued for N Spain into SW France with threat for severe storms, capable of producing large hail, torrential rainfall and severe winds.
A SLGT risk has been issued for parts of the Middle East with threat for severe storms, capable of producing severe winds, torrential rainfall, large hail and lesser extend for tornadoes.
A MRGL risk has been issued for S Turkey, E Mediterranean, Cyprus with threat for severe storms, capable of producing large hail, torrential rainfall and severe winds. Flash floods possible due to slow moving storms.
A MRGL risk has been issued for E Benelux across NW Germany into S Denmark where some isolated severe storms are possible, capable of producing large hail and severe winds.
TSTM risk areas have been issued across the Bay of Biscay, N Spain, across central France towards Denmark, the Alps into SW Germany, NE Poland, N Algeria and parts of S Italy and S Balkan peninsula where some isolated storms are possible, but should remain sub-severe. Some heavy rainfall and strong winds are possible with these storms.
