Quick update on the heat wave in north Europe: Kevo (Finland) at 69.6°N, way north in the Arctic circle, already hit 31.6 °C by 14:30 local time today, July 17! Large parts of Sweden and Finland reached and locally well exceeded 30 °C by early afternoon today. We will be taking a closer look at today’s daytime highs across northern Europe later in the day.
