Parts of England and Wales are in for several sweltering days and temperatures in the upper 20s and low to mid-30s in the next several days.
Part of the major heat wave across western and central Europe, England and Wales will push into well above-average temperatures. Temperatures will be in the upper 20s to low 30s across much of the region from Tuesday to Thursday, and even Friday for eastern parts of England. The hottest day will be Thursday, when temperatures will push up to 32-35 °C in large parts of England, with Wales pushing into mid to upper 20s.
