An upper ridge remains over Arctic region, centered over Greenland where a deep trough develops over Arctic Russia and expands towards N Scandinavia. Further south, an upper trough / low continues SE across the Balkan peninsula.

ENH / SLGT risks have been issued for E Romania into NE Bulgaria and S Moldova with threat for severe storms, capable of producing large hail, severe winds and torrential rainfall.
SLGT risk has been issued for SW Russia into Georgia with threat for severe storms, capable of producing large hail, severe winds and torrential rainfall.
SLGT risk has been issued for NE Algeria into N Tunisia with threat for severe storms, capable of producing large hail, severe winds and torrential rainfall.
TSTM risk areas have been placed where convective storms are likely to occur but should remain sub-severe.
