An extensive upper ridge still dominates Europe, while a deep trough with deep cyclone travels across Scandinavia. Another short-wave trough with deepening cyclone crosses N Atlantic towards Scotland. A weak upper low rotates W of Gibraltar, another upper low remains over E Turkey.

ENH/LGT risks have been issued for the Norwegian sea and coastal CNTRL Norway with threat for severe winds, locally in excess of 110 km/h.

ENH/SLGT risks have been issued for parts of N Atlantic W of Scotland with threat for severe to extremely severe winds, locally in excess of 120 km/h. A deep cyclone travels across N Atlantic and approaches Scotland in the late evening.

A SLGT risk has been issued for NW Morocco with threat for isolated severe storms with threat or heavy rainfall, severe winds and large hail.
