A large trough continues east across eastern Europe with a weakening upper low ejecting from SE Mediterranean into Middle East. A new trough enters SW Europe with a deepening surface low SW of UK, extending a cold frontal system south across W France and the Iberian peninsula, moving into the W Mediterranean.

A ENH/SLGT risk areas have been issued for extreme NW France, SW of England into S Ireland with threat for severe winds, gusts may locally exceed 120 km/h.

An ENH/SLGT risk has been issued for areas across NE Morrocco, N Algeria into SW Mediterranean for severe winds, expect wind gusts 100-130 km/h.

A SLGT risk has been issued for parts of SW France with threats for isolated large hail and severe winds.

A SLGT risk has been issued for most of Portugal and extreme W Spain with threat for marginally large hail (graupel showers as well), severe winds and locally excessive rainfall.

A SLGT risk has been issued for W Mediterranean with threat for severe storms producing severe winds, torrential rainfall and to a lesser extent for tornado threat.

A TSTM+ risk has been issued for S Turkey, Cyprus and northern parts of the Middle East with threat for isolated storms with large hail and severe winds. Waterspouts possible along the coast as well. Excessive rainfall threat is enhanced over S Turkey.
