SYNOPSIS

Deep upper low remains over N Europe with again deepening upper low over the Mediterranean. An upper ridge dominates west-central and ESE Europe.

ENH risk has been issued for S Romania, Bulgaria into NW Turkey with threat for severe storms, capable of producing torrential / excessive rainfall, large hail and severe winds. Widespread activity is again expected under strong instability but only weakly to moderate shear, resulting in slow moving storms with flash floods and large hail threat, also with lots of hail accumulation possible.

SLGT risk has been issued for areas surrounding the ENH risk including NE Greece, E North Macedonia into Moldova, E Ukraine into W Russia with more isolated threat for severe storms, capable of producing torrential rainfall, severe winds and large hail.

TSTM risk areas have been placed where convective storms are likely to occur but should remain sub-severe.
