Extreme north coast of Norway hits 30 °C (71.2°N) already in the morning – July 19, 2018

Today has started hot in the extreme north of Europe, with southerly winds producing a pronounced Foehn effect across the extreme NE Norway and N Finland. Temperatures have hit 31 °C in Kevo (Finland) and 30 °C in Slettnes Fyr (Norway) at 71.2°N.
