Severe supercells and hailstorms in CNTRL-E France – July 30, 2017

Severe hailstorms were reported in eastern parts of central France on July 30. Several discrete supercells formed, producing large to very large hail.

Hailstones up to about 3-4 cm in diameter were reported. Several storm chasers photographed the parent supercells, make sure to see the time lapse at the end.
