A powerful upper low is gradually retreating northwards from SW into W Europe. A ridge maintains to the east with a weak upper low centered over Turkey.
A SLGT+ risk has been issued for E-CNTRL Fwance, Benelux, W-CNTRL Germany, Denmark, Switzerland and NW Italy with threat for severe winds, heavy rain, large hail and tornadoes. Storms should take place by mid day and spread NNE-wards in the afternoon, organized into muticells and some supercells.
A SLGT risk has been issued for S Norway with threat for heavy rain, large hail and severe wind.
A SLGT risk has been issued for NE Algeria, N Tunisia into Sardinia with threat for heavy rain, large hail and severe winds.
