A widespread outbreak of severe weather with a  waterspout outbreak occured in southeastern Turkey in the early morning of October 2, 2013. Three distinct events happened in Maramaris, Alanya and Demre, all producing some major damage. The Demre event occured around local midnight, damaging over 100 acres of greenhouses. An hour later a second event occured in Alanya, with minor damage to local vegetation. The Maramaris waterspout occured between 6 and 7 am and was rated as F1 or T2 in a report on ESWD. No photographs or videos of actual events has appeared.
