Severe weather hits east USA – October 31, 2013

Heavy rain, hail, severe wind gusts and tornadoes have hit east USA overnight. There were many reports of property damage and also one fatality. Preliminary, 8 tornadoes have been reported so far, of which 6 have already been confirmed. The strongest tornado is currently estimated as an EF1, with wind speeds around 175 km/h. Over 100 km/h wind gusts were reported from Missouri.
