A decaying rex block pattern remains in place over Europe with ridges over the Azores and Scandinavia remaining strong, while the eastern European ridge decays further. An area of low geopotential with numerous embeded lows remains in place over W-CNTRL Europe. Eastern Europe, the Balkans and Turkey see another episode of locally intense diurnally driven pulse thunderstorms and weakly organized clusters, which may present a threat for local flooding. More organized storms are expected over NE Iberia, N Algeria and Tunisia and Belarus and NW Russia.
A SLGT risk area has been issued for E Austria for excessive precipitation.
A SLGT risk area has been issued for Belarus and NW Russia for locally excessive precipitation, marginally large hail and a few tornadoes.
A SLGT risk area has been issued for N Algeria and N Tunisia for large to very large hail, severe wind gusts and excessive precipitation.
