A short-wave trough crossing North Sea while new trough developing over E Atlantic.

A MDT risk has been issued for southern Alpine mountainous terrain with threat for torrential and excessive convective rainfall. Very high accumulations possible.

A low-end MDT risk has been issued for Ligurian coast of N Italy for torrential convective rain. Rain accumulations might not be very high, but some models peak 24-hour accumulations over 100mm which would result in more flooding over already affected areas on Sunday and Monday.

A SLGT risk has been issued for surrounding areas of MDT risk for some heavy rain. Some tornado/wind threat possible along the coastal area of SE France and Liguria as well.

A SLGT risk has been issued for NE France, Benelux, W Germany into Denmark and S Norway with threat for strong to severe winds, some tornado threat and heavy rain.

A SLGT risk has been issued for extreme W Iberia with threat for severe winds, heavy rain and marginally large hail.
