An upper low moves from Benelux towards southern UK. An intense polar trough affects NW Russia.

A MDT risk has been issued for parts of NW Russia with threat for strong to severe both convective and non-convective wind gusts. Very limited instability, but very strong shear points to a shallow convective line rapidly crossing the risk area.

A SLGT risk has been issued for the surrounding areas of MDT risk over NW Russia and parts of eastern Finland with threat for strong to severe non-convective wind gusts.

A SLGT risk has been issued for SW North sea with coastal areas of Belgium, Netherlands and SE UK with threat for excessive rain and strong winds.
