An upper low rotating over Sardinia slowly moves over central Italy. Severe weather is expected on its southern flank where flash floods are again possible.

A MDT risk has issued for parts of southern Adriatic into Ionian sea with threat for heavy convective rain, tornadoes and strong winds.

A SLGT risk has been issued for central Adriatic sea, parts of south-central Italy towards Tunisia with threat for heavy rain, hail, strong winds and a couple of waterspouts. Waterspouts are also likely within TSTM area over Tyyrhenian sea where steep lapse rates and high LL instability are present in weakly sheared environment.
