Two storm systems have matured offshore Greece and in the Ionian sea. Satellite images present impressive storm structure with overshooting tops, backsheared anvils and flanking lines. Given the apparent organization and favourable environmental variables both storms are most probably supercells. The general area is part of the SLGT risk area of Day 1 Outlook 9/10/2013

UPDATE (11:45 UTC): latest satelite imagery shows both storms have lost some of their organization and are currently multicell clusters.
