Explosive development of severe storms near Balearic islands – Oct 29, 11:15 UTC

An explosive development of severe storms took place just east of Iberia within the SLGT+ risk area of DAY 1 Outlook for 29/10/2013. Visible satellite image reveals an explosive storm just NW of Baleric islands:

Torrential rainfall, large hail, severe winds and tornadoes are possible within these storms, as strong shear and moderate instability are overlaping together. Storms should continue forming along the SE-wards moving frontal boundary.
