Another major tornado in Montalto di Castro, Italy on April 19, 2014
Another major tornado hit Montalto di Castro, Italy on April 19, 2014. This tornado too formed over the sea just off shore and caused major damage once onshore. Damage is reported as EF2 to EF3. The tornado persisted for about 5 minutes. This tornado hit about 40 km northwest and about at the same time as the Civitavecciha EF1-EF2 tornado. Scroll down for photos and videos.

12Z 19 April 2014 Pratica di Mare sounding (below) shows low CAPE, high shear and very high SREH conditions. The parent cell formed on a surface convergence near the coast.
