SYNOPSIS

A strong ridge is located across west-central Europe with a deep trough across N Atlantic and the Bay of Biscay. Upper low moves across ESE Europe.

SLGT risk has been issued for N Spain into the Bay of Biscay with threat for severe storms, capable of producing severe winds and large hail.

SLGT risk has been issued for NW France into SW England and Wales with threat for severe storms, capable of producing severe winds, torrential rainfall and large hail. A few isolated supercells with large hail threat are possible during the peak time hours with clustering towards the evening while moving into the UK.

SLGT risk has been issued for NE Turkey and Georgia with threat for severe storms, capable of producing severe winds, torrential rainfall and large hail.

SLGT risk has been issued for NE Morrocco and N Algeria with threat for isolated severe storms, capable of producing severe winds, large to very large hail and torrential rainfall.

TSTM risk areas have been placed where convective storms are likely to occur but should remain sub-severe.
