SYNOPSIS

A strong ridge over SW Europe continues strengthening while long-wave trough over the rest of Europe drifts east. One short-wave move across Denmark, another one over SE Balkan peninsula.

SLGT risk has been issued across parts of NW Russia with threat for severe storms, capable of producing severe winds, large hail and torrential rainfall.

SLGT risk has been issued for Georgia with isolated threat for severe storms, capable of producing strong winds, torrential rainfall and marginally large hail.



MRGL risk has been issued for parts of N Balkan and central Europe into W Poland with isolated threat for severe storms, capable of producing strong winds, torrential rainfall and marginal hail with accumulation with slow-moving storms.

MRGL risk has been issued for NE Spain into SW and central France with isolated threat for severe storms, capable of producing severe winds, torrential rainfall and marginal hail.

TSTM risk areas have been placed where convective storms are likely to occur but should remain sub-severe.
