SYNOPSIS

A deep trough is dominating the northern Europe while an upper ridge is located across the southeast Europe. A new ridge builds up SW of Iberia. At surface, a deep cyclone moves across the southern Scandinavia with an associated cold front pushed across the Balkan peninsula.

DISCUSSION

SLGT risk has been issued for parts of North Sea, Denmark, SW Norway, S Sweden into the Baltic sea region with threat for severe winds, locally in excess of 100 km/h.

TSTM risk areas have been placed where convective storms are most likely to occur across the Alps, western Balkan peninsula, central Italy and parts of N Atlantic.
