Storms with torrential rainfall continue along the SSW Alps – Oct 23, 19:30 UTC

Cold front extended across the central Europe is slowly shifting east where numerous storms with torrential rainfall are analyzed on radar scans on NW Italy, Switzerland and SE France.

Heavy convective rain is expected to continue through the night. Here are some rainfall amount until 18 UTC over S Switzerland and NW Italy that have been reported within the MDT/SLGT risk areas of DAY 1 Outlook for 23/10/2013 around the SW Alps:
