Stationary cluster of storms along western Greece – Oct 9, 10:15 UTC

An impressive satellite presentation currently over Greece. Two large multicell (possible supercell) clusters are ongoing in the last hours on the southern part of SLGT risk area of Day 1 Outlook 9/10/2013. One is located along the coast of western Greece, another one is further SW over Ionian sea. They’re both trailing / maitaining on the stationary surface boundary seen on satellite. These two storms pose a threat for heavy rain or even a waterspout/tornado given the good LL environment along the coast.
