Possible supercell near Montpellier, France – Oct 20, 08:10 UTC

A significant thunderstorm, possibly a supercell has formed at the end of the convective line in southern France, west of Montpellier. Satellite imagery shows significant overshooting top, indicative of strong updraft. Current radar imagery is showing possible right mover motion over the last several scans. This area is part of the TSTM area in France in the DAY 1 outlook for 20/10/2013 and storm should shortly be crossing into the SLGT risk area. Expecting development of further thunderstorms in this area, bringing heavy rain and strong / severe wind threat.
